  • Abstract:
    This document applies to all driver cabins or driving positions of railway vehicles subject to the EBO, ESBO, BOA and EBOA. It defines requirements for driver cabins or driving positions of these railway vehicles that exceed the requirements according to DIN 5566-1. This document does not apply to - vehicles subject to the BOStrab, - vehicles that are covered by the scope of EN 16186-1 to EN 16186-4, - vehicles that are covered by EN 14033 series, - auxiliary driver cabs and auxiliary driver's stands used exclusively for shunting purposes, - steam locomotives, road-rail machines and driverless remote-controlled shunting vehicles.
