Ergonomic standard
- Abstract:This Part of EN 1012 is applicable to compressors having an operating pressure greater than 0,5 bar and designed to utilise air, nitrogen or inert gases. The standard lists the significant hazards associated with compressors and specifies safety requirements applicable to the design, installation, operation, maintenance and dismantling of compressors during their foreseeable lifetime and subsequent disposal.
