  • Abstract:
This standard, prepared as supplementary to standards DIN 6280 part 1 to 9, in particular for the characteristics of testing generating sets of small power output, defines requirements and tests for mobile, portable generating sets. In this standard requirements and tests have been adopted which shall ensure the safe handling of the generating set by non-experts. Primary subjects are among others stability, water and humidity protection, fire protection, protection against electric-shock hazard, operational instructions and questions of overland conditions.
