  • Abstract:
    This document applies to technical tests on human, dental and veterinary X-ray equipment with an X-ray tube voltage up to 300 kV. This standard is not applicable to non-medical X-ray equipment. It applies only in connection with the guideline for the technical testing of X-ray equipment and sources of interference subject to approval (SV-RL). This document specifies requirements for tests which are necessary for the performance of technical inspections of X-ray equipment according to StrlSchV and which are not covered by tests of the acceptance test according to § 86 StrlSchG and § 115 StrlSchV.
