  • Abstract:
This document defines rules for recording the use of ionising radiation in radiotherapy, when produced by electron accelerators or X-ray or gamma irradiation facilities. This document also includes the protocol for the use of X-rays for Brachytherapy. However, since the definition of the radiation field according to DIN 6814-8 is not applicable in this case, all requirements of the present standard regarding the radiation field shall instead be applied analogously to the applicator.
