  • Abstract:
The document consists of recommendations for setting up walls made of lead bricks. It is structured in examples for the use of lead bricks in shielding walls of 50 mm thickness to 200 mm thickness and in hints for setting up of such walls. It consists furthermore of examples for the calculation of shielding wall thicknesses for a given ambient dose rate. This document closes with examples for the arrangement of working places with remote handling tongs, master slave maipulators and for the planning of ducts.
