Ergonomic standard
- Abstract:The values specified in this document apply to static action forces of female and male employees working in the industrial sector. The purpose of these specifications is to provide the designer and work designer with knowledge about maximum static action forces that can be transferred to operating equipment (e. g. actuators, tools, handles, loads). The user of this standard cannot derive from it any statements about tolerable or reasonable working conditions. The values given do not apply to employees who have reduced performance in the musculo-skeletal area with regard to the force measurement cases listed. Force exercise cases are presented and described.
