- Abstract:This document provides methods of measurement and evaluation of whole-body vibration exposure at workplace on or in the neighbourhood of vibrating machinery. The standard mainly covers definition of workplace, methods of measurement including instrumentation, location of measurement points, parameters to be measured, duration of exposure etc. It also covers evaluation in order to assess health and safety risks. Annex C gives guidance on how to handle transient vibration from operator's movements in determination of vibration values from field measurements.
